A project to reconstruct a new Australia House at Echigo-Tsumari, Niigata prefecture has been launched. The Australia House is to be a cultural exchange centre for Australia and Japan. It will be opened as one of the main artworks in time for the 5th Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, which will be held from July to September 2012.
